Abbas Salim Al-Halabi
Judge Abbas Salim Al-Halabi is from Ras El Matn (Baabda District), born in Beirut in 1948, married to Mrs. Rand Tawfiq Assaf, and they have three children.
He holds a law degree in Lebanese law and a law degree in French law from Saint Joseph University in Beirut, a diploma from the European University Institute in Nancy, France, a degree in comparative law IIIème Cycle from the International Institute of Comparative Law, and a postgraduate diploma in private law from University of Paris X Nanterre.

He has published articles and general intellectual and national studies, including a book on “Dialogue, Reconciliation, Peace, and Civil Affairs,” issued by the Institute of Christian Islamic Studies at Saint Joseph University in 2001, and a book on “Dialogue between Religions: The Arab Case and the Lebanese Model,” issued by the same Institute in 2007, and a book on Combating money laundering and the financing of “terrorism”, a banking legal study issued by the Bank of Beirut and Arab Countries in 2002.
The book “Les Druzes: Live with Life” was published by Dar Al-Nahar in 2005, the book “The Druze, Culture, History and Message” in 2008, the book “Dialogue of Religions and State Building” in 2009, also published by Dar Al-Nahar Publishing, and the book “The Druze, a new “Cultural and Historical Appreciation” published in English by Ithaka Publishing House in London, and the book “For Lebanon, the Message” published by Nelson Publishing House - Beirut in 2017, and studies in public affairs, politics, thought, economics, law, and banking published in dozens of joint books.
