لبنان يؤكد التزامه بإصلاح التعليم وتنميته في مؤتمر الشراكة العالمية من أجل التربية في فيتنام
شارك لبنان في مؤتمر "الشراكة العالمية من أجل التربية " (GPE) الذي عقد في فيتنام، عبر ممثلة وزارة التربية والتعليم العالي ومنسقة الشراكات السيدة مايا مداح، وذلك في حضور دولي مرموق ضم نحو ٣٦ دولة . وتُجسّد مشاركة لبنان خطوة محورية نحو مواءمة إصلاح التعليم الوطني مع الأهداف العالمية. وانّ هذه الشراكة تمت بدعم من المكتب الإقليمي لليونسكو في بيروت بصفته الجهة الموكلة رسميا للتنسيق في ملف GPE في لبنان ، ومع مجموعة التعليم المحلية LEG.
وجدّد لبنان في خلال المؤتمر التزامه بالانتقال من الاستجابة الطارئة إلى الإصلاح والتعافي والتنمية الطويلة الأمد، وبتعليم شامل وعالي الجودة، والعمل المستمر من أجل تحقيق الهدف الرابع من أهداف التنمية المستدامة.
ودعت وزارة التربية والتعليم العالي المجتمع الدولي إلى إعطاء الأولوية للبنان ضمن أطر دعمGPE، نظراً للتحديات العديدة والمعقدة التي يواجهها نظامه التربوي؛ وشددت على الحاجة إلى دعم دولي مستدام ومرن لتعزيز نموذج التعليم الشامل على الصعيد الوطني.
وأكّدت الوزارة أن لبنان يعمل بالفعل على زيادة التمويل المحلي للتعليم، ولا يزال ملتزماً بتعزيز هذه الجهود. ويواكب هذا الالتزام تركيزٌ على بناء شراكات استراتيجية لضمان استثمارات مستدامة وطويلة الأمد في القطاع التربوي.
وقد أتاحت الجلسات والاجتماعات التي عقدت على مدى ثلاثة أيام، حواراً معمقاً تناول استراتيجيات تحويل أنظمة التعليم ودور الشراكة العالمية من أجل التعليم في ذلك.�وشملت الاجتماعات زيارة ميدانية لإحدى المدارس، حيث تفاعل الوفد اللبناني مع التلاميذ والمعلمين والإداريين في مدرسة فيتنامية.
Lebanon participated in the "Global Partnership for Education" (GPE) Conference held in Vietnam, represented by Mrs. Maya Maddah, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education's Partnerships Coordinator. The event witnessed the participation of approximately 36 countries and featured high-level international representation.
Lebanon’s participation marked a pivotal step toward aligning national education reform with global goals. This engagement was made possible with the support of the UNESCO Regional Office in Beirut, which is officially assigned to coordinate the GPE file in Lebanon, alongside the Local Education Group (LEG).
During the conference, Lebanon reaffirmed its commitment to shifting from emergency response to long-term reform, recovery, and development, as well as to inclusive and high-quality education, in pursuit of Sustainable Development Goal 4.
The Ministry of Education and Higher Education called on the international community to prioritize Lebanon within the GPE support frameworks, given the numerous and complex challenges facing its education system. It emphasized the need for sustained and flexible international support to strengthen the inclusive education model at the national level.
The Ministry also confirmed that Lebanon is already working to increase domestic financing for education and remains committed to reinforcing these efforts. This commitment goes hand-in-hand with a focus on building strategic partnerships to ensure long-term, sustainable investments in the education sector.
The sessions and meetings held over the three-day event enabled in-depth dialogue around strategies for transforming education systems and the role of the Global Partnership for Education in this process. The program also included a field visit to a school, where the Lebanese delegation interacted with students, teachers, and administrators at a Vietnamese school.
